Football Recap: Rock Island Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rock Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Quincy Blue Devils and fell 53-6. While losing is never fun, the Rocks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 83rd).

Rock Island's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Quincy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rock Island is set to face off against their familiar foe Alleman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Quincy will square off against rival Moline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
