Hozho Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They skirted past the Zuni Thunderbirds 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Epraim Otero, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Brody Brown, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Hozho Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Zuni, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Hozho Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Bosque on the 12th. As for Zuni, they have also already played their next game, a 15-5 defeat against Magdalena on the 12th.
