Basketball Preview: Dade Christian Crusaders vs. Cushman Cougars
The Dade Christian Crusaders will face off against the Cushman Cougars at TBD on Tuesday. Cushman took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dade Christian, who comes in off a win.
Dade Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Doctors Charter, posting a 90-31 win at home. Dade Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dade Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kevin Rojo, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rojo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenvenson Malivert, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Cushman had to suffer through a rough 80-47 loss at the hands of the Sharks. Cushman was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-23.
The victory got Dade Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Cushman, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
