Franklin-Simpson had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 6-6 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They slipped by the Todd County Central Rebels 64-63. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

As for Todd County Central, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games.

Todd County Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Glass, who went 8-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and six rebounds. John Ross Cardwell was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine assists.

Coming up, Franklin-Simpson will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Russellville at 7:00 p.m. As for Todd County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Gators have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
