Baseball Recap: Grosse Ile's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Grosse Ile was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Farmington Falcons by a score of 8-4. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caleb Jones was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Grosse Ile is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-17 otherwise. Jones was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since May 3rd.
