Mound City lost to Osborn back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Mound City Panthers blew past the Osborn Wildcats, posting a 53-24 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Mound City pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.4 points per game. As for Osborn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Mound City is taking a road trip to challenge Northeast Nodaway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast Nodaway will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mound City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Osborn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-14 loss against Lawson on the 22nd.
