Baseball Recap: Mogadore Takes a Loss

Mogadore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LaBrae Vikings.

Cole Reese was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off eight hits.

At the plate, Jake Hopkins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Williams, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Mogadore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for LaBrae, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.

As of now, neither Mogadore nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
