Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Mountain View

The Washington Rams will take on the Mountain View Toros at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Washington is headed into the match having not lost since December 6 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Copper Canyon onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Aztecs are ranked 40th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite a strong season so far, Mountain View has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 3-0 to Mesa on Friday.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 19-1-1.
