Recap: Charleston Trojans vs. St. Teresa Bulldogs
On Saturday, Charleston earned a 61-54 win over St. Teresa. Given Charleston's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while St. Teresa is ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Charleston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Rudibaugh led the charge by scoring 26 points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Oakley, who scored 17 points.
Charleston's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Teresa, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Charleston will be playing at home against Mahomet-Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Teresa, they will head out on the road to face off against Argenta-Oreana at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Argenta-Oreana is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
