Portsmouth West extended their postseason success on Thursday against Dawson-Bryant. They had just enough and edged out the Hornets 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Senators sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Portsmouth West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was M Bradford, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Portsmouth West's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Dawson-Bryant, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.

Coming up, Portsmouth West will challenge Garaway at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Senators' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Dawson-Bryant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
