Seffner Christian won the last time they faced Lakeland Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Seffner Christian Crusaders came out on top against the Lakeland Christian Vikings by a score of 54-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Despite the loss, Lakeland Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Drew Cruz went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points and three steals. Cruz continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Donohue, who posted eight points and five boards.

Seffner Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Lakeland Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-16.

Seffner Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-43 defeat against Jesuit on the 28th. Lakeland Christian has also already played their next match, a 68-58 loss against George Jenkins on the 28th.
