Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Valley Christian Warriors.

Aubryn Lehman was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and two aces.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Appleton West is taking a road trip to challenge Kaukauna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Waupaca on the 13th.
