Baseball Recap: Americas Comes Up Short

Americas and Colleyville Heritage squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Americas had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7. The Trail Blazers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Americas' defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Colleyville Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Americas nor Colleyville Heritage have any future games scheduled.
