The Orange Grove Bulldogs will challenge the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange Grove has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Orange Grove is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Banquete: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Orange Grove blew Banquete out of the water with a 67-31 final score. That looming 67-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Orange Grove yet this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Gertrudis Academy). Everything went their way against Hebbronville on Tuesday as Santa Gertrudis Academy made off with a 73-48 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Orange Grove's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-19.

Orange Grove was able to grind out a solid victory over Santa Gertrudis Academy in their previous meeting back in January, winning 60-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orange Grove since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
