Gonyea also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles and defending a pass. William Liebler was in the mix as well, providing Alcona with two touchdowns.

Alcona's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Whittemore-Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Everything came up roses for Alcona against Whittemore-Prescott in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as the squad secured a 54-0 win.
