Sierra Foothill League recap December 3, 2013

Del Oro added to the longest winning streak in Sierra Foothill League this week by beating Yuba City, 52-26. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.

Del Oro took down the Honkers 52-26 last week, the largest margin of any game. Michael Moore threw for 169 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 20 yards during the win.

5-foot-10 quarterback Josh Neal of Granite Bay is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,314. He has also thrown 29 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Malcolm Thomas. The Woodcreek star has 44 catches for 877 yards.

Casey Taylor's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 247 from 322. The advance stemmed from a 52-26 victory over Yuba City last week.
