Softball Recap: Firestone Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Firestone can now relate to. They came up short against the Nordonia Knights on Thursday, falling 23-3. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Firestone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Loeffler, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Firestone's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Nordonia, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-15.

Firestone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nordonia, they will head out to take on Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
