Clay Ash of IMG Academy White is the Florida High School Football Player of the Week

Senior running back carried the mail in win over Key West.
Ash carried 19 times for 227 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-21 win for IMG Academy White over Key West. That performance came on the heels of a 141-yard performance with two TDs in the season-opener against St. John Paul II.
Here are the rest of this week's candidates, who collectively garnered more than 15,000 votes:

Jayvan Boggs,
Cocoa: Junior wide receiver hauled in 10 receptions for
218 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-21 win over Venice.

Brady Hart, Cocoa: Sophomore quarterback
connected on 26 of 33 pass attempts for 408 yards and four touchdowns.
He also had five carries for 28 yards on the ground in a 31-21 victory
over Venice.

Jackson Jensen,
Wharton (Tampa): Senior quarterback threw for 406 yards and four
touchdowns while completing 68 percent of his passes in a 50-3 blowout
of Plant City.

Eddie Love,
Fort Walton Beach: Junior running back carried 23 times for 259 yards
and three touchdowns in a 28-13 win over South Walton.

Michael McClenton,
Ocoee: Sophomore defensive end stifled the opposing offense
with 20 tackles, seven sacks and a pair of forced fumbles in a 13-6
victory against Wekiva.
