Softball Recap: New London Bulldogs vs. Menasha Bluejays

After flying high against Seymour last Thursday, New London came back down to earth. The New London Bulldogs fell just short of the Menasha Bluejays by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs New London has scored all season.

New London saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenna Mix, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

On Menasha's side, Addie Lund was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Neubert, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

New London's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Menasha, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

New London will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Bay West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. New London is facing Green Bay West at the right time seeing as Green Bay West is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Menasha, they will head out on the road to take on Shawano Community at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Menasha is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
