Volleyball Recap: South Cougars vs. Derby Panthers
It was a proper cat-fight when South took on Derby on Tuesday. The South Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Derby Panthers. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11.
South's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Derby, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-16 record.
South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Nickerson on the 12th. Derby has also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Valley Center on the 8th.
