It was a good run, but Waxahachie unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 13-9 to the Horn Jaguars. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

Waxahachie's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Horn, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-9-1.

Waxahachie and Horn should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Indians will face off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (135 vs. 733). Meanwhile, Horn (ranked 284th) will meet DeSoto (ranked 1038th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
