It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Boulder can now relate to. They lost 50-29 to the Overland Trailblazers on Wednesday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 39-25 to the Trailblazers when the teams met back in December of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Boulder saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lexi Oder dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. Oder is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Even though they lost, Boulder smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. This was only their fourth loss (out of 17 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Ilaisaane Davis was a one-woman wrecking crew for Overland as she shot 50% from the field on her way to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. That's the most boards Davis has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aziza Abdur-Razaaq, who had 12 points and five steals.
Boulder's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points on average over those games. As for Overland, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 14-10.
Boulder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Overland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-36 defeat against Pine Creek on the 1st.
