Soccer Game Preview: Conestoga vs. Pius X

The Conestoga Cougars are taking a road trip to square off against the Pius X Thunderbolts at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Conestoga came up short against Roncalli Catholic on Tuesday, falling 7-1. Conestoga were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Dylan Kayhanfar, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pius X's offense. They fell 2-0 to Skutt Catholic on Tuesday. Pius X have struggled against Skutt Catholic recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Pius X's defeat dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Conestoga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.
