Coronado extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Silverado. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Skyhawks. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Coronado got a great performance from Aubrie Sisler as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Bailey Goldberg was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and four runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Chase Magdaleno also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
