Recap: Grace Prep Lions vs. Coram Deo Academy Lions
Even though the Coram Deo Academy Lions scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, the Grace Prep Lions still came out on top. Grace Prep snuck past Coram Deo Academy with a 68-62 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Grace Prep.
Kate Jeter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 3 assists. Another player making a difference was Sophie Jordan, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Grace Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Coram Deo Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Prep will take on Fort Worth Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coram Deo Academy, they will be playing at home against Highlands at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highlands comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
