Volleyball Recap: Nahla Jones' Big Game Can't Quite Lead University Christian over Bishop Snyder + How To Watch

University Christian lost against Bishop Snyder back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Christians fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. While the Christians didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cardinals 25-18 in the first set.

University Christian took Bishop Snyder into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-16, 25-17, 15-25, 15-12.

University Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nahla Jones, who had 17 digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, University Christian fell to 4-1. As for Bishop Snyder, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, University Christian is taking a road trip to challenge St. Johns Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Snyder, they will welcome Fernandina Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
