Preview: Pebblebrook vs. Sprayberry
The Pebblebrook Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pebblebrook will be strutting in after a victory while Sprayberry will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Pebblebrook's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on McEachern with a sharp 4-1 win. With that victory, Pebblebrook brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ashley Cantor and
Jada Henderson, who scored all four of Pebblebrook's goals. The pair have combined for a total of seven so far this season.
Meanwhile, Sprayberry's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 6-1 defeat at the hands of Oconee County.
The victory got Pebblebrook back to even at 1-1-1. As for Sprayberry, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Pebblebrook might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Sprayberry in their previous meeting back in February of 2017. Can Pebblebrook avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
