Roncalli had already won 40 in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 41 on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Zionsville Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Royals also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Zionsville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Abby Swan had ten digs. Swan has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Roncalli's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Zionsville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Roncalli didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Yorktown on the 30th. As for Zionsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran on the 30th.
