Boyd-Buchanan won the last time they faced Chattanooga Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Buccaneers blew past the Sentinels 49-8. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Sentinels are ranked 233rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Boyd-Buchanan pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.9 points on average over those games. As for Chattanooga Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyd-Buchanan will take on Lakeway Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Buccaneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
