Softball Recap: Patterson Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

The Patterson Tigers came up short against the Livermore Cowboys on Friday, falling 12-1.

Jazmine Isom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Patterson's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Livermore, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patterson will welcome Oakdale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakdale's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Patterson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Livermore, they will host Newark Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
