Taylorville had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the North Greene Spartans by a score of 2-0.

Taylorville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alayna Vincent, who had five kills, five digs, and four aces. Those four aces gave Vincent a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Robyn Ward, who had ten kills and five blocks.

Taylorville's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for North Greene, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.

Taylorville has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pawnee on the 25th. As for North Greene, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lutheran on the 25th.
