Soccer Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva lost against Chardon back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers. That's two games in a row now that Geneva have lost by exactly two goals.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chardon, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geneva will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madison at 6:45 p.m. on September 2. As for Chardon, they will challenge West Geauga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
