Basketball Recap: Green Ridge Comes Up Short

Green Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 40-29 to the Northwest Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 50-45 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Green Ridge now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. Northwest will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Sacred Heart at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th.
