Durango won the last time they faced Grand Junction Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Demons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors. Surprisingly, this marked the Demons' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Durango walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-16.

Hadyn Neiman paced Durango's offense, picking up 12 kills. Neiman got some help from Indie Shows and her 23 assists.

Despite the loss, Grand Junction Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Delany Nostrand had 12 digs and three aces.

Durango's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Grand Junction Central, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Durango is set to take on their familiar foe Fruita Monument at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grand Junction Central will challenge rival Palisade at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
