Soccer Recap: West Ouachita Wins Going Away Against Northwood

West Ouachita kept a clean sheet against Northwood on Thursday. They blew past the Northwood Falcons 3-0. The Chiefs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

The victory made it two in a row for West Ouachita and bumps their season record up to 4-5-2. As for Northwood, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Ouachita will take on West Monroe in a holiday battle at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. West Monroe knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully West Ouachita likes a good challenge. As for Northwood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Caddo at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
