Basketball Recap: Strawberry Mansion Comes Up Short

Strawberry Mansion extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-3. They had to suffer through a 59-22 loss at the hands of the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER. The Knights lost against the KENSINGTON TIGER in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 67-61 score last time.

As for Kensington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 57.0 points this season.

Kensington can attribute much of their success to Trenton Blackwell, who posted 16 points. Jesse Wise was another key player, putting up ten points.

Looking ahead, Strawberry Mansion will head out to square off against MAST Charter II at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kensington, they will be home for the holidays to greet Penn Treaty at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
