Liberty waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Levelland Lobos 83-58. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Lobos are ranked 596th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Levelland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will host Estacado at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Estacado's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Levelland, they will welcome Big Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
