Electra dropped down to 5-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through a 66-0 loss at the hands of the Windthorst Trojans. The game marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

As for Windthorst, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games.

Brock Belcher was his usual excellent self, throwing for 458 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 76.7% of his passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 305 passing yards per game. Adam Barton helped Belcher out on the ground, rushing for 92 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.

Coming up, Electra will be playing at home against Haskell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Windthorst, they will head out on the road to take on Petrolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
