            Granada hasn't had much luck against California recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Matadors will face off against the Grizzlies at 5:15  p.m. Granada's defense has only allowed 10.1  points per game  this season, so California's offense will have their work cut out for them.
California will  take on  a team with plenty of momentum: Granada extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Matadors walked away with  a   14-7  win over Livermore. Given the Matadors' advantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Cowboys are ranked 213th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
 The critical scores for Granada came from  Isabelle Dunn and  Marin Lnenicka.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for California's offense. They took  a  12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carlmont on Thursday. The  game marked the first time this season in which the Grizzlies were not able to get on the board.
 California's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Granada, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
 Granada came up short against California in their previous meeting  back in September, falling  18-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  the Grizzlies'  Caeli AuYeung, who threw for 294 yards and three  TDs.
