Basketball Recap: Twin Loup Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Ansley/Litchfield came into Friday's game looking for another win against Twin Loup, but Yahya Harris wouldn't allow it. The Twin Loup Wolves walked away with a 65-56 win over the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans on Friday thanks in part to Harris, who went 11 of 21 en route to 32 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Ansley/Litchfield's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 23 boards. That was a full 48.2% of Ansley/Litchfield's points, marking the 12th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Chayton Jensen was another key player, going 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Twin Loup is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Ansley/Litchfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
