Softball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Cazenovia Lakers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 41-37 to the Lakers when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cazenovia, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Homer will face off against Mexico at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cazenovia, they will square off against East Syracuse-Minoa at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
