Derry and Highlands are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Golden Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Derry has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Derry is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since May 6, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 13-1 to Indiana. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Trojans' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Derry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jon Wasnick, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Highlands' offense. They came up short against Mars on Friday, falling 8-0. The Golden Rams haven't had much luck with the Fightin' Planets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Derry now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
