With a playoff win on the line, Saint Francis rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Los Altos Eagles. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Saint Francis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-21.

Saint Francis' victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Los Altos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-7.

Looking ahead, Saint Francis will take on St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Altos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
