Recap: Carrizo Springs Wildcats vs. Bandera BULLDOGS
The Carrizo Springs Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bandera. Carrizo Springs was down 41-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Jesse Cardenas had an outrageously good game for Bandera as he rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Carrizo Springs has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Bandera, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Carrizo Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bandera will face off against Jarrell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
