Softball Recap: Kickapoo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Weston last Thursday, Kickapoo came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Seneca Indians on Tuesday, falling 16-5. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Kickapoo's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Seneca, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Kickapoo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Ithaca on the 24th. As for Seneca, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-6 win against North Crawford on the 24th.
