Football Recap: Hillcrest Trojans vs. Valley View Eagles
Hillcrest needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Nicholas Shaw. The Hillcrest Trojans came out on top against the Valley View Eagles by a score of 24-14 on Friday thanks in part to Shaw, who picked up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hillcrest is undefeated when Shaw posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.
Hillcrest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Joshua Garcia and Nicholas Bernal.
Hillcrest's record is now 6-4. As for Valley View, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.
Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley View has already played their next matchup, a 35-3 victory against Moreno Valley on the 8th.
