            Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Torches vs. Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Tabernacle fought the good fight in their overtime  contest against Tuscaloosa Christian  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  61-60 to the Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors. The Torches just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
 Tuscaloosa Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jonathan Schwartz out in front who  went 6-for-7  en route to 20  points. What's more,  Schwartz also posted a 50%  three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's  achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Alec Joiner, who  went 5-for-7  on his way to 12 points and eight  boards.
Tabernacle's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, their victory was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 20-1.
 Tabernacle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  49-44  win against Cornerstone Christian on the 21st.
