Football Recap: Madison West Comes Up Short

After flying high against Madison East last Friday, Madison West came back down to earth. The Regents were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 21-20 to the Janesville Parker Vikings. The Regents were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Madison West's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Janesville Parker, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Madison West is set to challenge their familiar foe Madison Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Janesville Parker will take on rival Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
