Preview: North Greene Huskies vs. Unaka Rangers
North Greene is 9-1 against Unaka since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The North Greene Huskies will look to defend their home court against the Unaka Rangers at 8:00 p.m.
Two weeks ago, North Greene came up short against University and fell 50-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Greene has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Unaka took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 78-48 victory over Washburn. The victory was just what Unaka needed coming off of a 75-44 loss in their prior game.
North Greene's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Unaka, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.
Everything came up roses for North Greene against Unaka in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 65-38 win. Will North Greene repeat their success, or does Unaka have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
