Basketball Recap: Tallassee Comes Up Short

Tallassee was the 53-51 winner over Wetumpka when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tallassee Tigers fell 44-31 to the Wetumpka Indians on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tallassee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Wetumpka, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tallassee Tigers challenge the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wetumpka, they will face off against Chilton County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
